So, I was really lazy on Saturday. Not don'tgetoutofyourpjsandtotallyvegout lazy, but pretty close. I slept past 9 and then went with a neighbor to get the farm share, which was pretty cool. I got to meet the farmer and everything...I digress...But once I got back home, that's when the TV time started. There was LOTS of laying around, a little bit of knitting, a teeny tiny amount of cleaning, but nothing like working out, reading, or being the least productive.
Little did I realize that I was screwing myself over in the name of being lazy. So, I knew, in theory, that I had a lot of paperwork due this week. I didn't think about the fact that I really should have most of it done on Monday. Today. I had about 3 hours today to work on 6 hours worth of work, which was lame and made me feel crazy. I accomplished a lot of it, but not the thing that needed to be done first. This item is the hardest one to write, so I put it off. Of course. But it needs to be done NOW.
So, what am I doing? Writing a blog about procrastinating. Perfect.

And That's Why You Have A Barbecue
This was a very busy weekend for a dedicated band of college students visiting from TN and their Bostonian hosts. Together with some Northeastern students, the Little Brothers of St Francis, and other community members, we made tremendous headway on a long-term project that is the Garden of Art on Parker Street. It was a lot of blood sweat and tears that went into it, but the hard work really paid off. The park looked fantastic and played host to 150-200 people who visited the musical open house that was today's barbecue. It just plain rocked.

And That's Why You Create a Blog
J. Walter Weatherman is a hero, a patriot. He is a man who lives his life to teach us lessons of all kinds. Of the many lessons chronicled on the epic series "Arrested Development," my favorites were, "And that's why you always leave a note," and "And that's why you don't tell."
We all need lessons in life to survive. Some of them are scary, some are informational, and some are just plain funny. Our aim on this blog is to take all of the above and distill them down into one great "And that's why you..." every day.
There's a lesson in everything, and it could be the funniest thing you hear all day.
